Private Lessons Policy
All scheduling, payment inquiries, and communication about lessons is done via email with Gridbook Percussion. (email@example.com) Any specific questions about the actual lesson with the instructor including technique and approach, is done via email with your instructor.
All known schedule conflicts should be emailed to Gridbook Percussion (firstname.lastname@example.org) before the first of each month. We are flexible with our schedule, and understand events will happen that will change your availability, but we need to know ahead of time so we can schedule your lessons accordingly.
RE-SCHEDULING A LESSON
There may be a time where you cannot attend a lesson due to weather conditions, band events, school events, family emergency, oncoming illness, etc. If there is a lesson you have already paid for but need to reschedule, you may do so, but must give at least 24 hours notice prior to the start of your scheduled lesson time via email to email@example.com. Lessons that need to be rescheduled will not be issued a refund, but may be rescheduled for another open time-slot.
**** Once a schedule has been made (and invoice sent) any changes after that are considered a “re-schedule”. You are allowed  re-schedule per month. ****
Failure to notify Gridbook Percussion 24 hours prior to your scheduled lesson will result in a “no show”. A “no show” is when a student does not show up for a lesson and there has been no communication at least 24 hours in advance. The full price of any scheduled lesson will be charged for all “no shows”. All rescheduled lessons are taken on a case-by-case scenario.
Lesson payments are due monthly on the first of each month. You have a grace period of 5 days to pay the invoice in full. If a lesson invoice is not paid after the 5th of each month, we have the option to refuse instruction until the invoice is paid.
