Being a musician means you probably enjoy watching other musicians perform. This is something that is fun to do, but as a performer, you can get so much more out of watching others perform.⠀⠀

Whenever you have an opportunity, watch videos, go to shows, show up to rehearsals, do anything you can to surround yourself with greatness. And watch everything with a student's eye. Look at how they play their instrument, how they move, how they count, what details are they doing that you can do yourself.⠀⠀

Being inspired like this is a helpful way to progress your own playing just by watching others! Then, take the time to put in the work on your own playing to fine tune your skills.⠀
