EMBRACE THE UNKNOWN

Don’t be afraid to do something because you don’t know the outcome. (I am working on the pearl proposal and I have NO IDEA if it will get me anywhere, but if it does, AWESOME, if not at least I learned a great deal from it. For many of you, it is the start of a new season and that can be pretty daunting if you have never done this before. ⠀
FEAR often stems from uncertainty, so "The Unknown" is one of the scariest things in the world. But it is not the fear of the unknown that bothers us, it is our fear of failing that is the real issue. In a world driven by instant gratification, we get upset when we don't know something or can't figure it out right away. But if we think of our inconsistencies as opportunities, we can find success in failure. ⠀
When you are presented with something hard, something you can't do, something that pushes your limits, you can either get upset that you are inadequate or get excited that you're about to learn something. You have to know that everything takes time and if you work hard enough, the hard things get easier over time and you have the potential to master them. ⠀
BUT YOU MUST DO THE WORK. ⠀
Some of you get upset when you're challenged and can't overcome the obstacle, but then you give up and complain rather than stay persistent. It is up to you to figure it out. (Rule #9) So keep working hard, embrace the unknown, turn failures into opportunities, and don't give up on anything that matter to you. ⠀
