You might be a section leader, you might have just aged out, you could be a teacher or simply an alumni of the activity from years ago. As a veteran, it is your job to educate and influence the younger generation. Anything that you loved about the activity, you should pass on that knowledge to current performers. ⠀

There are so many great moments from the past that were not documented. Other activities (like football and basketball) have much more documentation and commentary on the past, and this activity is just now starting to document it's greatness. So it is up to you to help tell the story of the past. Educate the new generation so they know the roots in which the activity was born. ⠀
